A few of the rarest and most interesting coins of Celtic Britain come from a small sub-tribe in Berkshire who briefly issued silver coins circa 55-45 BC. This beautiful Abingdon Head silver unit is one such rarity. Only five other examples are known and this is by far the sharpest.
