The head on this Sussex Helmet
silver unit, struck by the
Atrebates, c.50-30
BC, is derived from the helmeted
head of Roma on early Republican
denarii. Found at Ratham, West
Sussex, 28 September 1996. Only
three others recorded, including one
in the National Museum of Wales.
