This beautiful gold stater of Dumnocoveros Tigirnos Seno is one of the prettiest we have ever seen. Both dies are deeply engraved. The obverse is perfectly positioned, with the wreath leaves standing out like little gold bricks. And the reverse reveals the full TIGIR inscription and an enchanting long-eared horse. If only all Celtic staters came out of the earth looking as immaculate and 'minty fresh' as this stunning one!
