Gold, silver or bronze, we keep getting the highest prices for Ancient British coins. For example:

This is the highest price ever paid for an Ancient British gold stater and we got it for Danny Baldock’s Anarevitos gold stater, sold by auction by Liz Cottam in Chris Rudd List 117, May 2011, No. 6. “I couldn’t have wished for a better outcome. I hope the coin gives a lot of pleasure to everyone who sees it in the British Museum. I’ll always be grateful to you for looking after us so well.” KL, Danny’s partner.

This is the highest price ever paid for an Ancient British gold quarter stater and we got it for Tom Lesurf’s Dubno (Togodumnus?) gold quarter stater, sold by auction by Liz Cottam in Chris Rudd List 133, January 2014, No.50. Tom said:  “Thank you Liz and Chris for all your help, for your outstanding service and for producing a record-breaking result for me. I’m over the moon! I knew I could trust you.”

£13200This is the highest price ever paid for an Ancient British silver coin and we got it for an Amminus Lion silver unit, sold by auction by Liz Cottam in Chris Rudd List 132, November 2013, No.12.

£2250This is the highest price ever paid for an Ancient British bronze coin and we got it for an Agr Bull bronze unit, sold by auction by Liz Cottam in Chris Rudd List 124, July 2012, No.55.
